Another reason to read Tim Challies' blog: he does a good job of linking to other useful stuff. Case in point- Max Stackhouse addresses the vocabulary of love here.

Good point. Thanks for referring this link. I can see that it has generated a ton of comments on his site.
I think it mostly comes down to a matter of semantics. What do you mean when you say "in love with"?
Love has become such an ambigious word in our language that we can be in love with our car or in love with our wife, use the same words, and barely discern the difference even in our own minds.
